A certified translation includes a signed certificate of accuracy from the translator or translation company, confirming the translation is complete and faithful to the original. This is the standard required by USCIS, courts, universities, and most government agencies in the United States. Every translation from Florida Translate includes this certification at no extra charge.

Every certified translation includes the signed certification statement that USCIS requires, including a declaration from the translator attesting to their competence and the accuracy of the translation, per 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3). Yes. Our certified translations are accepted by academic institutions, employers, and most government agencies. State and federal courts generally require a certified & notarized translation. Because requirements can vary by institution, we recommend confirming whether the receiving organization also requires notarization or a physical copy.

Certified translations start at $25 per page (up to 500 words per page). Volume discounts apply automatically: 5% off most orders, 10% off 30+ pages, 20% off 50+ pages. Pages exceeding 500 words incur an additional $17.50 for each 250 additional words. If you order requires an adjustment, we will notify you before proceeding. Some languages carry a surcharge due to translator availability, language complexity, and other factors; you can view the exact per-page cost for your language pair on our pricing page.

One page is a single-sided document containing up to 500 words. Pages exceeding 500 words incur an additional $17.50 per 250 extra words. If an order requires an adjustment, we will notify you before proceeding.

Yes. While the pricing structure is per page, some languages may cost more depending on the language combination, translator availability, the writing system used (such as non-Latin alphabets), and the level of specialization required for the document. For USCIS and most immigration purposes, a standard certified translation is sufficient. Notarized translations are generally required for: state and federal courts, passport applications (U.S. Department of State), banks and financial institutions, academic credential evaluations, child support cases, DMV submissions, and international use requiring an apostille. Processing time depends on the number of pages in your order and the processing speed selected. You can view the full processing times table. In general: 1–3 pages: 24 hours (regular) or 12 hours (expedited) 4–8 pages: 48 hours (regular) or 24 hours (expedited) 9–20 pages: 72 hours (regular) or 48 hours (expedited) 21–30 pages: about 5 business days (regular) or 72 hours (expedited) For urgent requests, 2-hour service is available for certain languages on 1–3 page orders, Monday–Friday from 8AM–8PM ET. Expedited processing can be selected during checkout.

Yes. We offer expedited processing, which is typically twice as fast as our standard turnaround time. For urgent 1–3 page orders, we also offer 2-hour delivery Monday–Friday from 8AM–8PM ET. You can view the exact processing times based on the number of pages.

You can upload your documents securely through our website when placing your order, or through the order portal once the order is submitted. We accept clear photos, scans, or PDF files. You can also email them to info@floridatranslate.com and we'll attach them to your order. You do not need to mail the original document for translation services.

All translations include free digital delivery. Once your order is complete, you will receive a secure PDF by email and through your client portal, which you can access anytime. If you select physical delivery, we will mail a printed certified translation with the signed certificate of accuracy and embossed certification seal, suitable for official use. Multiple shipping options are available, including standard mail, expedited shipping, overnight delivery, and international delivery.

For USCIS, a digital PDF is usually sufficient. Physical copies are more commonly required for: state/federal courts, passport applications, banks, academic credential evaluations, and notarized translations being used internationally.
