A certified translation is a translation paired with a signed statement from the translator confirming the document was translated accurately and completely. USCIS, U.S. courts, universities, and most government agencies require this before they will accept a foreign-language document. Every translation we deliver includes the signed Certificate of Accuracy at no additional cost.

Yes. Each translation includes the signed certification statement that USCIS requires under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3). We've completed thousands of translations for immigration cases, including I-130, I-485, I-751, N-400, and K-1 visa petitions. Academic institutions, employers, and most government agencies accept them as well. Courts are the main exception: state and federal courts generally require a certified *and* notarized translation. If you're not sure whether your receiving institution also requires notarization or a physical copy, check with them before ordering.

Certified translations start at $23.75 per page, with each page covering up to 500 words. The exact rate depends on your language pair, and volume discounts apply automatically on larger orders. One page is one side of a document containing up to 500 words. If a page has more than 500 words, the extra words count as an additional page. We will let you know before starting if your order needs any adjustment.

Yes. Some language pairs cost more than others, depending on translator availability, the writing system involved (Arabic and Chinese, for example, require specialized formatting for non-Latin scripts), and how complex the document is. For USCIS immigration filings, a certified translation is sufficient. No notarization needed. Notarized translations are typically required for state and federal courts, U.S. passport applications, banks, academic credential evaluations (WES, ECE, etc.), child support proceedings, DMV submissions, and documents being apostilled for international use. Turnaround depends on page count and the processing speed you select: 1–3 pages: 24 hours standard, 12 hours expedited 4–8 pages: 48 hours standard, 24 hours expedited 9–20 pages: 72 hours standard, 48 hours expedited 21–30 pages: ~5 business days standard, 72 hours expedited 2-hour rush delivery is available for 1–3 page orders in select languages, Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 8 PM ET. Upload your documents through our website when placing your order, or through the client portal after submitting. We accept photos, scans, and PDFs. You can also email files to info@floridatranslate.com. You do not need to mail originals.

Every order includes digital delivery at no extra cost. You will receive a PDF through your client portal and by email. For USCIS, the digital copy is usually all you need. If you need a physical copy, we mail a printed certified translation with the signed certificate of accuracy and embossed seal. Physical copies are typically required for court filings, passport applications, banks, credential evaluations, and international use. Shipping options include standard mail, expedited, overnight, and international delivery.

You can then choose to move forward or cancel the order for a full refund.
