Yes. All our Greek-to-English translations include the certification statement required by USCIS and other U.S. government agencies.

Absolutely. Our certified translations are valid for universities, courts, consulates, and immigration offices nationwide.

A page is defined as a single-sided document containing up to 500 words. Pages exceeding 500 words may incur an additional charge of $12.50 for each additional 120 words. If an adjustment to your order is required based on the word count, we will notify you first to confirm before proceeding.

For USCIS immigration filings, no — a standard certified translation is all that's required. Notarized translations (+$25) are required for: state and federal courts, passport applications (U.S. Department of State), banks and financial institutions, academic institutions and credential evaluations, child support cases, DMV, and international use requiring an apostille. Turnaround depends on page count: 1–3 pages complete in 24 hours (regular), 12 hours (expedited), or 2 hours (Mon–Fri 8AM–8PM ET). Greek uses its own alphabet with 24 letters distinct from the Latin script, which requires translators with specialized training. Greek legal and ecclesiastical documents also use formal terminology that differs from everyday language. Older civil and church records from Greece are often handwritten in a formal register that requires additional expertise to interpret accurately. These factors place Greek in our $30/page tier alongside other non-Latin-script languages.
